Bob de Bruijn, has been appointed a Member of the Board of Directors of Van Ameyde International, Van Ameyde’s holding, as from 1 January 2019. In the capacity of Director, he had prepared for this new role since 1 September 2018. Succeeding Pieter den Dikken, Bob de Bruijn will, among other things, focus on the strategy and operations of the loss adjusting and surveying division.
Servicing the commercial property & casualty market is one of Van Ameyde’s strategic pillars. In his new role, Bob de Bruijn is responsible for the Group’s entities Van Ameyde Marine, Arntz | van Helden, MLC Spain, Krogius, Woodgate & Clark and the asset valuation organisation Van Ameyde Waarderingen.
“Under the supervision of Pieter den Dikken the division has expanded into an international network for the commercial lines market. It is our ambition to further grow this network of strong brands, in terms of both disciplines and markets. Offering our customers loss adjusting, surveying, risk consultancy and valuation of commercial assets, we strive for a one-stop-shop for the commercial lines market,” says Bob de Bruijn.
Bob de Bruijn joined Van Ameyde in 2009 as an international project manager. Having successfully completed various complex, cross-border projects, he became Van Ameyde’s Business Development Director in 2011. From 1 April 2016 till 1 September 2018 Bob de Bruijn held the position of Managing Director of Van Ameyde Benelux.
As said, he succeeds Pieter den Dikken. Pieter den Dikken held the position of Chairman of the Board for eleven years and was a Board Member for a further twelve years. Pieter den Dikken will continue to support Van Ameyde and its Board of Directors with his expertise in the capacity of senior advisor.
